Zoom Engagement Session Saturday, March 6, from 1–2:30pm MST. Join with your laptop or tablet so you can see the people talking.

Topic:
Writing Your Artist Statement

With Ann Mansolino and hosted by Chris W. Carson.

In this session, we’ll talk about how to craft a strong artist statement: what to include, what to leave out, a process for developing and editing your artist statement. This session is aimed both at those who have never written an artist statement and are not sure where to begin, and for those who already have an artist statement, but would like some guidance as to how to make it stronger and more focused.

Bio:

Ann Mansolino is a visual artist whose work explores the relationship between the internal self and external ideas of place through photography, writing, and handmade books. Ann has taught photography at colleges and universities in Canada, the United States, and Singapore, and has exhibited her photographic and book arts work in solo and group exhibitions internationally.

Register through Eventbrite by 11am on Saturday March 6. This session is open to all.
