The Alberta Jubilee Auditorium is looking for Teaching Artists (TA) who have a passion of working with youth and adults across a variety of artistic and technical platforms.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for visual artists, fibre artists, actors, directors, playwrights, musicians, props builders, fight directors, costume and set designers, puppet makers, makeup artists, vocal coaches and dancers who believe in building community and inspiring the next generation of artists in Alberta.

As a TA, you take great pride in activating artistry in others and you spark the curiosity, wonder and imagination in all! You are thoughtful in your lesson plans and work towards achieving a wide variety of learning outcomes that engages all learners.

About our Arts Education Programs

Our Arts Education Programs are personalized, interactive and rooted in elements of each class’ curriculum. Creative explorations in the technical, visual and performing arts will inspire learners and educators to make personal connections in, through, and about the arts. Working alongside some of the world’s best teaching artists and technicians, students have a hands-on opportunity to create, reflect and explore in an environment that supports personal and social growth, empowers practical learning and inspires curiosity that enriches the individual, the class, and our community.

About the Alberta Jubilee Auditoria Society

The Alberta Jubilee Auditoria Society (also referred to as the “Jubilee Society”) is a not-for-profit organization that emphasizes on extraordinary patron services and fosters cultural development in both Calgary and Edmonton facilities. A Board of Directors leads the Jubilee Society with representatives from across Alberta. As volunteers from the community, Board members work
for the betterment of the Jubilee and strive to promote the importance of art and culture.
