McLuhan House Art Studio Residency

Arts Habitat Edmonton is a non-profit organization engaged in finding, managing and developing space for the arts. McLuhan House is envisioned to be an interpretive centre for Herbert Marshall McLuhan’s life and legacy of thought.

McLuhan House also hosts well-defined cultural programming and curated events that explore McLuhan’s belief that “The medium is the message,” and incorporate the “global theatre.” Artist-in-Residence are expected to provide a minimum of 2 exhibitions/events throughout the term of the residency. These events are at the discretion of the artist(s).
